Privacy by design
Your journal should not become someone else’s data.
This policy explains how KRFFL LLC handles information in connection with the Flower Focus iPhone app and this website.
The short version
Flower Focus does not require an account. We do not operate a backend for your app history, and we do not collect your check-ins, journal entries, reasons, cravings, reminders, progress, focus type, or garden data on our servers.
The website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, third-party forms, or marketing cookies.
Information stored on your device
Flower Focus may store the following locally on your iPhone:
- Onboarding choices and selected focus type
- Daily check-ins, support events, and reflections
- Private notes, reasons, and user-authored support phrases
- Reminder settings, progress, and garden state
- Purchase entitlement state
Sensitive user-authored text is encrypted before local storage. App insights and generated journal summaries are produced locally and do not require an external service.
What we do not collect
Flower Focus does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, remote configuration, cross-app tracking, external AI processing, or a developer-operated account system.
We do not sell, rent, or trade app data. Because the app does not send your habit-change history to us, we do not have that history to disclose or monetize.
Purchases
Flower Focus uses Apple StoreKit for the optional Lifetime Unlock. Apple processes the purchase through your Apple ID under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. The app uses purchase information supplied by Apple to determine whether paid features should be available.
Notifications and device features
If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled locally. Default lock-screen wording is designed to avoid sensitive terms. Device authentication may be used to protect the private journal when enabled and available; authentication is handled by iOS.
Website delivery
This is a static website delivered through BunnyCDN. We do not place analytics or advertising cookies. Like other hosting and CDN providers, BunnyCDN may process basic request information such as IP address, browser details, requested paths, timestamps, and security logs to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. That infrastructure processing is governed by BunnyCDN’s own policies.
The support page reveals the support address only after a local JavaScript interaction. Revealing the address does not send information to us.
Data retention and deletion
Your local app data remains under your control. You can remove records through available app controls or remove app data by deleting the app, subject to iOS behavior. Because we do not maintain an account or cloud copy, we generally cannot recover deleted local data.
Apple diagnostics
Apple may provide aggregated or user-authorized crash and diagnostic information through App Store Connect. Flower Focus does not include a third-party crash-reporting SDK.
Medical and crisis boundary
Flower Focus is for reflection and habit support. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, detox support, emergency care, or a replacement for professional help.
If stopping alcohol feels physically unsafe, or withdrawal symptoms feel severe, seek medical help urgently. If you might hurt yourself or feel unable to stay safe, call or text 988 in the United States. If there is immediate danger, call emergency services.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app or website changes. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
